Day 1: 24 hours later...we're in Thailand!

Well, we just got to Bangkok, and the Thailand journey begins!!!!! The 23 hour trip was sooooo long! I absolutely love planes and airports, but I must say, my kankles are unbelievably huge, and our luggage got lost. BOO! We took a taxi to our hotel and had to split up...I can already tell it's going to frustrate the crap out of me not being able to communicate. At least in Hispanic countries, I can understand people and relatively get my point across in return. But THAI??? No way... Oh well though, I guess that just adds to the adventure. I feel like my life is a movie...and my iPod sings the soundtrack to it. Traveling just gets my adrenaline pumping. Oh, and speaking of such, I talked to Heidi (one of the girls student teaching with me who used to live here in Thailand. I asked her about the whole tattoo thing, and she said it would be fine and that she'd already gotten one here. Sooooo...I'm just going to go to the same place she got her's done in Chaing Mai and ask the parents for their forgiveness later. haha. I'm getting the Thai word for "patience" since that is a fruit of the spirit and it's one of my 2010 themes. I can't wait...yay souvenir for me! :)

So it's January 2, 2010...(we missed the 1st on our flight lol). This year is going to be unreal. My theme is going to be "embracing change" and "patience." I really want God to reveal Himself to me this year...and it's my desire to seek after Him totally. 2009 was a crazy year, and I think I've gotten all the craziness out of my system. It's time to grow up and truly seek after what God wants for my life. He's lining up so much for me, and I love how I really haven't had to choose any specific path, but rather it's just fallen in my lap. It's liberating to have doors shut for me, so I don't have to live with the repercussions of shutting them on my own. I'd much rather God choose which doors to lead me through. Ok, I'm rambling. All I'm saying is that I'm just ready for something fresh...it's a new season, a new year.

Thailand = losing weight, reading the Word everyday, eating healthy, exercising, growing the %$@& up. :)

I'm out.
Cwalk.
